Sultan Forest Rest House
Sultan Forest Rest House is a popular Forest Lodge in the Dhikala Zone. Most of the guest who cannot book Dhikala Forest Lodge make their booking at the Sultan Foest Lodge. 6 kms is the distance of the Sultan Forest Lodge from the Dhangari gate inside the Dhikala Zone. It is situated on the main road which goes to the Dhikala Forest Lodge. Further, it is surrounded by Sal forests and is quite solitude of an area. Therefore, you can expect to see a lot of Birdlife around the Sultan Forest Lodge. In addition, as it is a very peaceful place so you can spend a lot of time with yourself at the Sultan Forest Lodge. The whole environment is full of enchanting views and it gives you a lot of time for introspection. In addition, there is a constant chirping of birds and the fresh air that you can feel. Similarly just staying at the Sultan Campus you can capture in your cameras unique shots of a lot of birds. That is to say, a lot of birds have nesting in the nearby trees and many of the rare species of birds can be found here.
There have been numerous occasions when the Tiger has been found moving around the Sultan Forest Lodge range. Moreover, herd of elephants have also been sighted in the area very frequently. For instance, during their stay these elephants are seen playing around with their families.
Accommodation in Sultan Forest Rest House
Sultan Foest Lodge has 2 Rooms and a drawing room. Most importantly, both the rooms have attached washrooms. In addition, the rooms have twin beds along with an option of 1 extra bed available for the 3rd Person. Moreover, all the Rooms are very clean and perfect for overnight stay.
There is solar fencing around the entire campus of the Sultan Forest Rest House so that no wild animal can enter inside the Sultan Campus. Most importantly, there are also forest officers around the campus if incase there is an emergency. To sum up, your safety is guaranteed during your stay inside the sultan forest Lodge.
There is 24/7 water facility in the Sultan Forest Lodge along with the facility of Hot water through solar water heating system. However, there is solar generated electric light but no luxuries like the Air- Conditioner or Television.
Above all, many female travelers, families as well as wildlife photographers have personally told me that they do not even think of these luxuries when I book their Sultan Forest Rest house as they are so immersed in the beauty of the Dhikala Zone.

Meals in the Sultan Forest Lodge
There is no canteen facility in the Sultan Forest Lodge. However, there is a kitchen facility with good cooks. Therefore, raw ration is to be carried by the visitors which is handed over to the Room attendant and then cooked in the kitchen by the chef. After that, the cooked food is served to the guests as per the meal timings in the Sultan Forest Lodge.
Raw ration is either brought by the guests or we buy on his behalf and it is then kept safe with our Jypsy driver who we arrange for you. Therefore, after reaching the Sultan Forest Lodge our Jypsy driver hands over the ration to the concerned person so that you give your meals on time.
How to Book Sultan Forest Lodge
Sultan Forest Rest House is in the Dhikala Zone. Moreover, Dhikala Zone remains open for the period of 15th November to 15th June. In addition, Sultan Forest Lodge is booked 45 days in advance for a complete period of 1 month. For instance, if you want to book a stay at Sultan Forest Lodge you have to get in touch with us at least 2 months before you finalize your vacations in Jim Corbett National Park. Meanwhile, you can let us know your dates of visit so that we can make your bookings for Sultan Forest Lodge.
When we make your bookings for Sultan Forest Lodge we take care of your entire tour from the time you reach Jim Corbett National Park to the time you leave from here. In other words, we arrange for your car parking, Open Jypsy to take you to the Sultan Forest Lodge from the city along with Jeep driver and permissions. Moreover, it also includes you jungle safari in the Dhikala Zone.
Note: To make your bookings in Sultan Forest Lodge for a particular date you would have to provide us with the personal identity cards of all the visitors who would be travelling with you along with an advance payment of 50%. In Conclusion, once your Dhikala zone Sultan Forest Lodge is booked through us and we have sent you the e-mail confirmation of the same than under no circumstances the bookings would be cancelled or postponed.
