    Timings for Jungle Safari at Jim Corbett:

    Jim Corbett National Park allows the visitors with the option to take the morning (6am) or the afternoon (2pm) slot for safari booking for Jim Corbett. The Corbett jungle safari is done either in a Jypsy or a Canter. Total number of adults allowed in a jeep are 6 and in a canter are 16. 2 kids can also be accommodated in the jypsy. As there are limitations on the number of Jypsy entering the different Zones the online booking of Jim Corbett Safari is confirmed as per availability.

    Bijrani Zone

    The bijrani zone is closest to the city of Ramnagar and very popular among wildlife lovers. Many of the time guests have seen Tiger in this particular Zone.     Dhikala Zone

    Dhikala is the most popular  Jim Corbett Safari Zone and is situated at the heart of Jim Corbett. It has numerous grasslands and a very good wildlife.

    Jhirna Zone

    This zone has a dense forest cover where most of the time you can spot an elephant as well as Peacocks among other rare Birds. This zone is opened throughout the year. The thick vegetation of the Jhirna zone is all time favorite among nature lovers who find solace in Flora of Jim Corbett.

    Dhela Zone

    The Dhela Zone has huge Grasslands which increases the probability of Tiger sighting in the region.     Durgadevi Zone

    This zone is very  dense and paradise for bird lovers. As it is on a height it is cooler than other zones in Jim Corbett. Great Hornbill and Serpent Eagle have been spotted here quite often. Being a bit far from the city a Safari to the Durgadevi Zone starts early so as to reach the Entry gate on time.

    Sitabani Zone

    This is an elephant corridor where you often come across tigers, leopards and elephants. Travelling through this zone you also come across the famous sitabani temple and the saying goes that Goddess Sita with her kids to have spend some time here.

    Safari across this zone also takes you to Powalgarh where it is said that Jim Corbett had shot the Bachelor of Powlgarh (the largest recorded Tiger till date) and fromthan onwards he had change of heart and he became a Conservator of Tigers.

    Procedure for booking Jim Corbett safari:

    To make your jungle safari booking at Jim Corbett we require the following details:

    • The identity cards of all the people opting to go for Jim Corbett safari.
    •  Your preferred dates and slots (Morning or Afternoon) to book Corbett Safari.
    • Advance Fess for booking safari at Jim Corbett.
    • Your preferred zone for safari booking in Jim Corbett.
    • To book safari in Jim Corbett for foreign nationals Passport details are mandatory.

    Important information for Corbett Safari Bookings:

    • Under no circumstances Jim Corbett National Park safari once booked will be canceled or transferred.
    • The name given in advance along with identity cards will only be allowed to enter the Corbett Safari Zone.
    • With one permit only 1 safari zone will be covered and that too the name of the Safari zone will be mentioned on the permit.
    • Hard Copy of identity Cards to be carried at the time of Jungle Jeep Safari in Jim Cobett.
    • Jim Corbett jungle Safari timings have to be strictly adhered to.
    • Wear dark clothes like Green and Brown during the Jungle Safari.
    • Maintain the Decorum of the Zone you are visiting.
    Rules And Regulations for Jim Corbett Jeep Safari
    1. All reservations inside the tiger reserve are provisional and can be changed or cancelled without prior information. The decision of director CTR will be final in the matter.
    2. Carrying of firearms of any kind is not permitted within the Tiger Reserve.
    3. No pets can be taken inside the Tiger Reserve.
    4. Walking or trekking is strictly prohibited.
    5. Driving inside the Tiger Reserve after sunset is prohibited.
    6. Cooking is not allowed within the Tiger Reserve and at Dhikala and Bijrani tourist complexes. In other rest houses visitors can cook within the provided space.
    7. Visitors are required to carry a litter bag while entering the Tiger Reserve and bring back their non-biodegradable litter (tin cans, plastic, glass bottles, metal foils etc.) outside the Reserve. Throwing litter inside the Tiger Reserve other than in garbage bins will invite severe penalties.
    8. Official registered guide is compulsory on all excursions.
    9. Smoking outside residential complexes/rest houses and lighting of any kind of fire is strictly prohibited.
    10. Playing of transistors and tape recorders within the Tiger Reserve is strictly prohibited.
    11. Visitors are prohibited from taking vehicles off the designated routes thereby causing damage to plant or animal life or their habitat.
    12. Blowing of horns and driving above the speed limit is strictly prohibited within the Tiger Reserve.
    13. Entry into the restricted zone by the visitors is prohibited.
    14. Shouting, teasing or chasing animals or attempts to feed them are prohibited and will invite severe penalties.
    15. Visitors are advised to occupy the accommodation as reserved on the first day itself or send prior intimation to hold the accommodation. Otherwise, the reservation will be treated as cancelled.
    16. Maximum two adults and two children (below 12 years) per room are allowed to stay in the tourism zone. One extra bed can be provided on payment of prescribed charges.
    17. Day visit to Dhikala Tourism Zone is not permitted except in conducted tours organized by Corbett Tiger Reserve.
    18. Entry of private vehicle in All Tourism Zone is prohibited.
    19. Entry into the Tiger Reserve with or without a pass in on the own risk of the visitor. The authorities shall not be responsible in any way for damages caused if any.
    20. Permit is not transferable. Once permit is issued the amount is not refundable.
    21. Non vegetarian food is prohibited inside CTR.
